Jack LeRoy Gacke of Abilene passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Abilene, Texas . A Graveside service will be held Friday January 24,2020 at 1pm at Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Jack was born August 16, 1932 in Royal, IA. to Margueritte Henrietta Schofield and Edward John Gacke. Jack Gacke was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. Jack and his wife Sherrill, were married sixty-two years. Jack and Sherrill were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Abilene. Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Jackie Lee Gacke.
