Jack F. Myers 71 of Abilene passed away July 6 2013. A memorial service will be July 9 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Keith Clifton officiating. The family will receive friends July 8 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street. Mr. Myers was born on March 8 1942 in San Angelo Texas to Archie and Nettie Myers. He graduated from North Texas University with a BA in Business. He worked as a food broker for Sysco Foods for thirty years and Wes-T-Go Convenience stores for nine years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandsons. Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Nettie Myers. He is survived by a brother James Myers of Abilene; a daughter Steffanie Dayton of Lubbock; a son Steven Myers of Dallas; and his grandsons Zachary Dayton and Adam Dayton of Lubbock and Caleb Koch of Dallas; and Dustin and Carey Dayton of Lubbock.
