On January 14, 2022, Jack E. "Chip" Turner, Jr. passed from this world to be with the Lord in Heaven. Memorial service will be held In honor of Chip, Saturday February 19, 2022 at 1pm with lunch to be served at 11am, both to be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. 14501 CR 405 May TX. 76857 Jack graduated from Hobbs High in 1975, joining the U.S. Marine Corps. He was in the marines for almost 9 years. After returning to civilian life his occupation was over-the road truck driver until becoming disabled. Jack married and is survived by his high school sweetheart, Paula (Paschall) Turner in 1975. Their 46 years of marriage produced 3 daughters; Tye Leigh Turner of Oklahoma, Niccole Turner of Saginaw, TX and Jamie Torigian of Houston. Jack is also survived by brother Pete Turner of Hobbs, NM, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Jack enjoyed working in his woodshop, fishing, hunting and visiting with friends and family. Most of all he enjoyed teasing the grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by parents, Jack, Sr. and Lequetta Turner and 1 brother, Tony Turner.
