Jacqueline "Jackie" Diane Howard 58 of Abilene, TX passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 26, 2022 at 10am at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday March 25 from 6-8pm

Jackie was born March 10, 1964 in Wortham, TX to Barbara Lynn Drury and Jackie Howard. The family moved to Mexia when she was very young, Jacqueline received her primary education from Mexia public schools. Jackie moved her family to Abilene in 1992 and would remain the rest of her life here. Jackie was a hard worker and worked her whole life to provide for her family. She worked at Mr. G's for many years and also as a CNA at Coronado Nursing Home for 10 years. She worked in the hospitality industry at the North and Southside Marriott Hotels, She also worked at Town Place Suites by Marriott and Home 2 by Hilton in Abilene for many years. She was an executive house keeper in abilene while employed with the Marriott. Jackie had a strong bond with her lord and savior Jesus Christ, he was her strength guidance, and love.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents Jackie Howard and Barbra Lynn Drury, daughter Tiffany Peterson, and maternal grandmother Inez Cross-Kirby

Left to cherish her memories are: husband of 25 years, Patrick Sims of Abilene, aunt Ida Boyd of Mexia, Children; Tawana Howard of Lubbock, Whitni Battreall of Abilene, son, Thomas Kirk Battreall of Abilene, Lacrisha Peterson of Abilene, Jakelle Jones of Arizona, Hannah Quattlebaum of Arizona, Joshua Cooper of Abilene, and Gavin Quattlebaum of Arizona_, 32 grandchildren 2 of them of which she raised and cared for as her own, John Paul Smith, and Jream D. Smith, 8 great grandchildren,childhood friend and sister of 52 years Rita Battreall, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
