James Alan Jones, age 66 passed peacefully from this life on October 10, 2022. A Celebration of James's Life will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, October 14 at North's Funeral Home in Abilene.

James was born on August 4th, 1956, In New Castle, Indiana to Raymond and Loretta Jones. He attended school in New Castle and came to Abilene in 1993. James worked for many years as a sound system installer for Bunkley Sound in Abilene. He enjoyed having a beer and a cigar with his friends at Gardski's and the Longbranch. James loved old movies and TV shows. He enjoyed old cars and listening to 60's and 70's music, his favorite band was the Beatles.

James leaves behind a multitude of friends to cherish his memory. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.
