Janet "Jann" Johnson McClain of Abilene along with her daughter Donna Patri of Tacoma Washington went to meet out Lord on April 9 2008. Jann was born on October 18 1949 to Emil and Marilyn Johnson in Gowanda NY. She grew up in Attica NY and graduated from Alexander High School in 1967. She has been a resident of Abilene since 1984 and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for the past 11 years. She married her husband Jerry McClain of Blanket TX on June 27 1987. She is survived by her husband; her children Sandra Patri Glenn McClain Britt & Heidi McClain Leroy "Charlie" & Julie McClain Natasha McClain and her husband Rob DeKarske; and grandchildren Anthony & Bianca Ambrosio Michael Patri and Daniel Curran Cutter & Rowdy McClain Jerry Tyler and Kaitlin McClain and Wyatt & Jake McClain. Funeral services will be held at Ft. Phantom Baptist Church on FM 600 on Saturday April 12 at 2:00PM. Co-Pastors Bill Dickson & Dave Douglas will be officiating with graveside service to follow at Ft. Phantom Cemetery. Flowers and donations may be sent to Ft. Phantom Baptist Church.
