Janice Marie Glass-Hicks (55) passed away Friday, July 21, 2023. Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Visitation will be from 12 -2 p.m. and service will begin at 2 p.m. at North's Funeral Home, located at 242 Orange St. Abilene, Texas 79601 with Michael Clay officiating. Janice was born March 4, 1968, to James Lee Glass and Helen Fay Lee, in Bakersfield, California, later moved to Abilene, where she attended Abilene Public Schools. She loved watching scary movies, listening to music and baking sweets. Janice was preceded in death by her parents James Glass and Helen Lee; sister Angela Pollard and granddaughter Nakia Hunter. Survivors include her (3) daughters Takiya Lee, Natashia Hicks and Candice Lee; (Sister) Sharon Knox; (2 Brothers ) David Pollard and wife Marie and Larry Knox and wife Francis. (3) Grandchildren, (1) Great-Grandson (3) Nieces, (1 ) Nephew, (1) Great-Niece, (3) Great-Nephews, (1) Aunt (2) Uncles and numerous cousins and countless friends.
