Jean Ann Colen 84 of Leander, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 at her home with family by her side. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 2, 2024 at 11am at North's Funeral Home with burial to follow at Elmwood Memorial Cemetery. Jean was born in Gastonia, NC to Marvin and Lucy Crawford on March 16, 1940. She met and married the love of her life Morgan Henry Colen on March 20,1965 in Solano,CA. He was an Airforce Veteran, and they began to travel during his duty assignments and started their family. Jean A. Colen was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Morgan Colen, and her son Jeffrey Colen. Jean A. Colen is survived by her children Terry (Patricia) Colen, Austin, TX, Stephanie Colen, Jackson,MS, Ricky Colen, Baltimore,MD, Jeffrey (D) (Regine) Colen Summerville, SC, Ricky (Christina) Mitchell Abilene, TX. Seventeen Grandchildren, and a host of Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. The family of Jean wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice, (Nurses) Jennifer, Sterling, Keith, Fran, and (Caregivers) Ashley and Toni. Special thanks to Terry, Patricia, Danielle, Keana, and Jordan for the unconditional love and care you showed our mom, and granny.
