Jerry Wayne Coplin 67 of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Funeral service will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 11am at North's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Walter Osborn officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 31, from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home. Jerry was born April 2, 1955 in Abilene, TX, to Tommy and Bobbie Coplin. Jerry received his education from Abilene Public Schools. He lived in Abilene and worked for Mrs. Bairds Pie Plant for over 30 years. He was a hard worker, he loved building furniture and things, and working on computers, cars and motorcycles. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Edward Coplin Sr. and Bobbie Lee Hill-Coplin, grandparents, Willie Payne and Henrietta Payne, Brother Tommy Edward Coplin Jr., sisters Bobbie Jean Porter, and Della Cotton. Uncles; Cecil Hill, Willie Payne Jr, Earlie Payne, and Aunt Ruby Payne, Cousin Jean Crain. Left to cherish his memories are sons Jerry Coplin Jr. of Abilene and wife Gwen, and Jermaine Coplin, of Abilene and wife Theresa. Brother Bennie Ray Coplin of Abilene and wife Veronica, sister Cynthia Coplin of Arlington, one aunt Annie Laura Jackson. grandchildren; Jasmin, Trevion, Jaydon, Aalaizha, Navleigh, and great grandchild Laney. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.
