Jerry Lynn Prickett 68 of Abilene, passed away March 19, 2025 graveside service will be held Thursday April 3, 2025 at 11am at Texas State Veteran Cemetery, viewing will be held at Wednesday April 2, from 11-5pm at the Funeral Home. Jerry was born in Abilene, Texas on May 31, 1956. He attended Abilene High School in Abilene,Texas. He graduated from high school and became a devout member of the Marine Corps after high school. Jerry went on to work in construction and helped build many of the apartments in Abilene and even worked at NASA for over 10 years. He was proud of having been a veteran serving in the Marine Corps and was awarded Expert Marksman along with other outstanding honors while serving Jerry was a skilled baseball pitcher and football receiver. He received accolades at Church reciting scripture as a youth. He Loved his Family with all his Heart and Proved it over and over through his life. He especially looked after his twin brother Gerry and made sure Gerry was taken care of at all times. Jerry was preceded in death by his Father- Larry Prickett, Mother Janice Austin and his brother Gregory Hamilton Jerry is survived by ex wife Brenda J. Prickett, and children Athenia A. Frazier, Nathan J. Prickett, and Ryan D. Prickett. brothers Joe Prickett, Gerry Prickett, Jeffery Hamilton, Howard Hamilton, Michael Hamilton and Steve Hamilton.
