Jesse Walton Jr. was born on December 23, 1956, in Harlem, New York. He passed away on November 3, 2026.

Jesse enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his friends. He was someone who appreciated the company of others and enjoyed being surrounded by the people in his life. He shared six years of his life with Margie Sims (Puddin).

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-children, Frederick Hicks, Ronnell Sims, and Candie Sims.

Those left to cherish his memory include his aunt, Carol, of New York; his step-children, Robin Stewart (Terry) of Houston, Kimberly Wilson (Ronnell) of Abilene, Denise Sims (Michelle Lyons) of Abilene, Jackie Clay (Michael) of Abilene, and Hertis Sims (Jalen Washington) of Abilene, his brother-in-law, Monte Lyons (Rene) of Abilene, Latisha Joiner of Plano; and step-grandchild Iviana Tate of Abilene.
