Obituary

Jesseca "Missi" Caddell Stevens 57 of Abilene passed away Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at Hendrick Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 2pm at the North's Funeral Home Chapel. Jesseca "Missi" Caddell Stevens was born in Andrews Texas on October 24, 1963. Her parents were Jesse and Loucil Caddell Sr. She had one sister Jeni Ellis (and husband David) of Bloomfield NM and two Brothers, Jesse Caddell Jr (wife Julie) of Azle and Martin Caddell( wife Brandy) of Hale Center. Jesseca has two living children, Brittany Hartgraves (husband Chase) of Abilene and Cooper Stevens of Abilene. She was preceded in death by her first born child Jacqulyn Branin, her parents Jesse and Loucil, and her brother Jesse Jr . She is survived by numerous nephews and nieces as well as many friends and family. Miss attended school in Azle where she made many life long friends. She was married to Ben Branin in March of 1981. After Ben's untimely death in the fall of 1983, Jesseca with young daughter in tow, tried going back to school. A few years later she remarried Bobby Gage, and from this marriage, The gift of Brittany was received to them. Then in 2000 after being Married to David Stevens for 6 years, they we're blessed with Cooper. Jesseca had several jobs in the work force between raising her precious children. Several people will remember her as the pool technician at Action Sports Medicine, where her bright smile and wonderful personality helped patients recover. Over the last few years, she went on to earn a certification as a Dialysis Technician and this year received her certification as a Mental Health Technician. This shows that she believed she was never to old to learn and improve herself. Jesseca was a life long fan of the Dallas Cowboys rain or shine. She enjoyed playing sports as a youth and had a love for sports that lasted a lifetime. She also loved animals, she especially had a love for her dogs Anjii, Jude, Hope, and Lucy. Jesseca was an all around wonderful person with many gifts and loves. Most importantly she had a loving relationship with Jesus Christ The family would like to thank the entire Health Care Team that fought to take of her over the last month of her life.
