Jessie G. Benavides Jr. 69 of Clyde passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at his Home. Funeral Services will be held at St Francis Catholic Church Tuesday January 24, 2023 at 10am. Visitation will be held Monday January 23, 2023 from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home. Jessie was born March 18, 1953 in Sweetwater, TX to Carolina Aguilar and Jesus Ortega Benavides Sr. Jessie received his primary education from Sweetwater public schools. Jessie Joined the United States Army and served in Germany. Jessie loved Fishing, going to Flea Markets, and was a Huge Dallas Cowboy Fan, but most of all he loved being around his family especially his grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by Parents Jesus Ortega Benavides Sr., Carolina Aguilar; sisters Gloria Benavides, MaryAnn Benavides Gutierrez, and Krystyna Garza granddaughter from Abilene, TX. Left to cherish his memories are: wife of 36 years Ramona Benavides of Clyde, TX son Christopher Benavides (Nancy) of Eula, TX duaghter Rachel Aguilar of Dallas, TX, Son Steve Garza of Eula, TX son richard Ray Garza of Eula, TX, sisters; Rosa Cruces, Pauline Castillo, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, extended family and many friends.
