Jimmie Faye Henderson, 89, died January 23, 2016 at an Abilene hospital. Faye Henderson was born July 13, 1926, to Charles and Laura Smoot near Stamford, Texas. She graduated from Scranton High School in 1944. She worked for Barnes & Williamson Drug Store and later Dr. William R. Sibley, Jr. Following retirement, she moved to Alaska and traveled extensively for several years. Faye married Leslie W. Henderson August 15, 2003 in Eastland, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Leslie W. Henderson. No services are planned. Arrangements are being handled by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street.
