Joe Dale Pruitt, age 54, passed away in the comfort of his home with his wife by his side on Sunday, June 4th, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 10th at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St, Abilene, Texas. Joe was born on November 6th, 1968, in Levelland, Texas to Lois Reese and Jackie Pruitt. Joe and his wife Beverly were married in April, 2005 and have lived together at the lake where they shared almost 20 years. Joe was a proud student of Texas Tech and a lifelong fan, following along with Patrick Mahomes all the way to the Super Bowl. Joe's life passion was fishing and relaxing at his home on the lake after a long day's work. He shared those passions with his grandchildren and passed down his love for fishing, boating and cooking out. Although quiet, Joe was known for being witty and funny. Joe was a simple man who valued his family, home and faith. Last, but absolutely not least... Joe was most proud of his company he built from the ground up with the help of a few great friends, Caesar Sandoval and Robert Martinez. His customers were so important to him, and he was proud to serve them year after year. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Gaither; father, Jackie Pruitt; grandmother , Dorothy Reese and sister, Sue Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Pruitt; children, Crystal Schnabel, Amanda Schnabel, Fallyn Sahadat and his grandchildren, Carter Burleson, RJ Choice, Kadar Sahadat, Scarlett Burleson and Rogan Massey. ** A special mention: Billy Griggs led Joe into the saving arms of Christ a week before his passing.
