John Francis McMahon, 70 years old, passed away unexpectedly on March 2nd, 2023 in Abilene, Texas. John Francis McMahon was born in Lynn, Massachusetts to Francis Anthony McMahon and Ruth Eleanor Kallenberg on December 28th, 1952. He attended Boston University Corporate Education Center and Abilene Christian University where he received a degree in History. He was involved in the Veterans Support Group as well as the VFW and was well know around Abilene. John was a very unique person with a big character. John served in the United States Navy for 3 years and 3 months, worked as a Electronics Technician in Submarines while in the Navy. John worked for Volkswagen in the parts department and at Lowes. He will be truly missed by his friends here in Abilene, Texas.
