Johnnie Wheeler Wickham, age 94, passed from this life on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022. Johnnie was born on April 15th, 1928, in Abilene to John Wheeler and Nina Beckett Wheeler. She grew up in Trent on the Bar X Wheeler Ranch and received her primary education in Trent. Johnnie began high school at Trent High, then transferred to The Hockaday School in Dallas before returning to the area and graduated from Abilene High School. She married Bob Wickham in 1953 and they had two sons, David and Danny. Johnnie loved cattle ranching and devoted her life to it. She was precede in death by her son, David Wickham and her ex-husband, Bob Wickham. Johnnie is survived by her son, John "Danny" Wickham of Merkel; grandchildren, Athena Wickham of Austin, John Patrick Wickham of Dallas and great grandchildren, Simon, John Thomas, Sam, Iris, Elliott and Riley.
