Johnny Brush, 63, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on 10-27-2024 after a long battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held in Albany, Texas at Albany Cemetery on Thursday, October 31st at 1pm. Services entrusted to North's Funeral Home. Johnny was born on December 27th, 1960 to parents Popeye Brush and Patricia White in Fort Worth, Texas. He dropped out of school in 8th grade and started working in the oilfield. He also was a truck driver and spent his last years working for the City Of Abilene. He worked hard his entire life. A true hard working Texan that never received a handout from anyone and was always there to help his family and friends. Johnny was the backbone to his family and loved his family so much. In 1976, Johnny met his wife Karrie. Johnny and Karrie and went on to have 2 children, Matthew and Casey. Johnny spent his free time taking care of his family and building carpentry projects to improve his family's life with the little they had. He enjoyed playing golf and watching football. His favorite thing he enjoyed was his wife's Karrie's homemade food. Johnny is survived by his wife Karrie Brush and 2 sons Matthew and Casey. And by his grandson Jayden Brush. And by his sister Veronica Coplin, brothers; Darrell Brush and Michael Brush.
