Johnny Flores Diaz, 58 years old, of Abilene, Texas Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 27, 2023. A memorial service will be at 1:00PM on Saturday February 11, 2023 at True Light Global Ministries 1164 Minter Ln. Abilene, Tx. Johnny was born in Abilene, Tx to Felipe and Carmen Diaz on July 27, 1964. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Carmen Diaz; his son, Johnny Reyes l; his grandson, Johnny Reyes lll; sister, Lupe Diaz; brothers, Joe Diaz and Andy Diaz of Abilene, Texas. Johnny married Sandy on September 16, 2011. Johnny was a big Washington Redskins fan. He loved to cook and had plans to open a burrito shop. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Diaz; daughter, Marissa Diaz of Anson Tx; son, Johnny Reyes ll & Shelly Diaz of Abilene Tx; two grandsons, Jayden & Emmitt Diaz of Abilene; granddaughter, Jaydalyn Diaz of Abilene; sister, Maggie Diaz and Richard of Palm Coast FL; brother, Jesse and Deborah Diaz of Abilene; brother, Michael and Dawn Diaz of Abilene; sister, Monica Diaz of Dallas Tx; sister, Nina and Rosindo of Abilene; Ezekiel Rodriguez and Ismaeel Lily of Abilene Tx. The family would like to sincerely thank all the Dr's and nurses of the ICU and the hospice nurses who took care of Johnny, his needs in keeping him comfortable.
