Joni Kay Hollabaugh Hudgins went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 29th, 2022 after a short but difficult battle with Covid. Joni was born in Salina, KS to USAF Lt Col Raymond Hollabaugh and Kathy Hollabaugh. Joni and her family lived in Georgia, California and Kansas before settling in Abilene, TX in 1965 where she graduated from Abilene High in 1973. Following graduation, Joni continued her education receiving a degree in nursing and becoming an R.N. Much of Joni's forty-year professional career was spent in Psychiatric Nursing where she felt she could better help others. Joni leaves behind the love of her life, husband Dusty Hudgins, father USAF Lt Col (RET) Raymond Hollabaugh of Abilene, brother Rodger Hollabaugh and wife Becky of Breckenridge. Step-Son and Daughter David and Mary Hudgins of Austin, Granddaughter Bella Grace Hudgins of Austin, Nieces Shawna Atkinson and husband Nick and Lindsey Giles, both of Abilene and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
