Jonnie Elliott Kucholtz 94 longtime resident of Abilene passed away Monday May 03 2010 in Arlington Texas. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange Street. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Jonnie was born September 28 1915 in Abilene Texas to John and Vannie Elliott. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1933. She married Anthony ""Tony"" Kucholtz in August of 1941. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1941 where she sang in the choir for over 40 years. She worked for Dr. Theo Nichols for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents husband three sisters two brothers and one grandchild. She is survived by three sons: Don Kucholtz and wife Ellen of Grand Prairie Jon Kucholtz and wife Donna of Greenville and Jim Kucholtz and wife Chris of Granbury; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
