Joseph Neal Cochran 56, of Abilene, passed away July 5, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel with Bishop Rob Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange St. Mr. Cochran was born November 6, 1957 in Wellington, Texas to James and Betty (Neal) Cochran. He was a member of the First Methodist church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father, James Wesley Cochran. He is survived by his Mother, Betty Cochran of Abilene. One sister, Carole Cochran Tallmon and husband Eric of Abilene. One brother, Scott Cochran and wife Rhonda of Amarillo. Nieces, Jordan Lee Kennedy, Reagan Michelle Pendley and husband Larry Davis, Shannon May Davis, Brookly Ann Davis. Nephew Nathan Ryan Cochran and wife Bri and baby Judith Cochran.
