Josie V. Rodriguez 72 of Abilene passed away Saturday August 20 2011 at a local hospital.   A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Reverend Bhaskar Morugudi officiating.   Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. in North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street .   Josie was born on February 17 1939 in Coupland Texas to Ignacio Villalobos and Refugia Gonzales.   She was a long time member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and an active member of the Rose Park Senior Hawaiian Dancers.   She was a loving mother grandmother sister and friend.   She dedicated her life to her children grandchildren and church.   Josie will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her especially her grandchildren who called her Nana.   She was preceded in death by her parents: Ignacio Villalobos Refugia Gonzales; her husband Juan C. Rodriguez; and brothers Evaristo and Juanito Villalobos.   She is survived by her children and spouses: Juan Mario and Rosa Rodriguez Refujio Martin and Paulina H. Rodriguez; grandchildren: Refujio Martin Rodriguez II Emilia Rodriguez Alyssa Rodriguez Domonique Rodriguez and Gabriella Rodriguez.   She had five sisters three brothers and boyfriend Freddie Townsend whom we deeply appreciate.   We appreciate the wonderful care that Josie received at ARMC ICU X-Ray CVPU PCU E.R. and Medical Surgical Units.   Thank you very much.   You are true angels and God Bless You.   Online condolences can be made at www.northsfuneralhome.com.
