Jovita G. Hernandez age 85 of San Antonio formerly of Abilene passed away on September 19 2011 at home in San Antonio surrounded by her loved ones.  Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St .  Funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Ambler Baptist Church 2150 Park Ave. and will be officiated by Rev. Paul Vasquez.  Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery . Jovita was born in Otto Texas and grew up in Waco .  She married Ignacio Hernandez Jr. in 1941 in Waco .  She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons Ignacio Jr. and Manuel; and one daughter Amelia (Millie) Flores. She is survived by seven daughters Janie Dora Mary Sandra Sandy and Alice; six sons Elias Isabel Don David Ignacio and Raymond; sixty-nine grandchildren eighty-seven great-grandchildren and fourteen great great-grandchildren.
