Joyce Ann Huyck-McNulty 86 of Abilene passed away Sunday December 28, 2025 in Abilene,TX. A memorial service will be held Friday January 2, 2025 at 1pm at North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12-pm prior to the service.
Joyce was born on September 26, 1939, in Somerville, Massachusetts, to George and Theresa Jackson, Joyce lived a life of service, faith, and devotion to God and her family.
She worked as a homemaker, food service worker, and child care provider, and was also employed at the Abilene State School, from which she later retired. Joyce found joy in music, knitting, and crafts, and she especially loved singing. As a pastor's wife, she faithfully served alongside her husband and took great pleasure in singing praises to Jesus, including singing solos and with the church choir.
Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose faith and kindness touched many lives.
She is survived by children: George and wife Tracie, Scott and wife Janet, Dan and wife Laurie, Jim Jr, and daughter in law Terri Huyck, She is also survived by her siblings: Margaret Ford, Jimmy Jackson, and Lori Schmidt,15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James Huyck and John McNulty; her son Ron, and her siblings Richard Jackson, Charlie Jackson, Patsy King, Mabel Oliver and Nancy Jones.
Joyce Ann Huyck-McNulty will be remembered for her strong faith, her love of music, and her dedication to Christ.
