Juan V. Araujo 79 of Abilene passed away Tuesday October 11 2011. A Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday with Father Bhaskar Morugudi officiating. Burial to follow in Abilene City Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St . Mr. Araujo was born July 31 1932 in Del Rio Texas to Antonio and Luisa ( Valdez ) Araujo. He worked as a gardener for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents wife Jovita and two granddaughters. He is survived by his son; Antonio Araujo and wife Gloria of Abilene . Daughter; Ana Maria Arellano of Abilene .
