Juan Daniel Holguin Sr. aka John Daniel (JD) was born in Abilene Texas to Alfredo Holguin Sr and Josie Carrion Chavira on June 25, 1980. He attended Abilene High School in Abilene, Tx. He married Lea Sanchez on August 21, 2000, and had 4 children together. Later in life he re-married Amanda Camacho Holguin on July 3, 2024, in their home. JD had the biggest heart for everyone, loved his children and grandchildren deeply. His hobbies included gambling (casinos), bowling, outdoor work (activities) and spending time with his family. JD was always joking and making memories with everyone. JD was preceded in death by Alfredo Holguin Sr, Inez Gonzales, JOe Carrion, Diane Carrion and Debbie Quintanilla. JD left to cherish his memories are his wife Amanda Camacho Holguin and children Juan Holguin Jr, Boogie (Amber Plasencio), Jalena Holguin (Gabriel Rodriguez), Laila Holguin, Alea Sanchez (Children's mother) Lea Sanchez, stepdaughter Victoria Diaz, stepsons Jesse Diaz, Angel Diaz. 5 Grandchildren Israel Cortez (Izzy), Haisley Sanchez, Mercedes Holguin, Kinzlee Sanchez-Stokes and Isabella Holguin. Mother Josie Carrion Chavira and Stepfather Pedro Chavira. Brothers Freddie Mungia (Brandi), Robert Carrion (Naomi), Sammy Carrion (Joannie), Anthony Holguin (Nana), Victor Holguin (Nan), Alfredo Holguin, Junior and Sister Desma Layne (Corey). Step Siblings Nichole Valdez (Jeremy), James Chavira (Alicia) and Marcos Chavira. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family of JD wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hendrick Hospice (Nurse Heather Vann). Pallbearers will be Juan Holguin Jr (Boogie), Robert Carrion, Sammy Carrion, Anthony Holguin, Victor Holguin and Alfredo Holguin Jr. Funeral service will be held Thursday November 7, 2024, at 10am at North's Funeral home Chapel, with burial to follow at Abilene City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home.
