Juan Martinez Jr. (Juanon), 60 of Abilene passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. Services will be under the direction of North's Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home April 21, 2021 from 6-8pm. Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11am at the Abilene City Cemetery with Rev. Paul Matta Officiating. Juan was born September 11, 1961 in Del Rio TX to parents Juan Martinez Sr. and Juanita Coronado Martinez. He moved to Abilene at the age of 13 along with his parents and siblings. After attending school he then went on to pursue a career in construction . Juan enjoyed spending time with his family and his two step sons Joe Angel and Miguel Olvera whom he cared for very much. Juan was preceded in death by parents Juan Martinez Sr., and Juanita Martinez, sisters; Isidra Serrano, Velma Martinez, Maria Gomez, Brother Jose Martinez, and nephew Adam Perez. Left to cherish his memories are brothers Alfred Martinez (Rose) of Abilene, Robert Martinez of Abilene, Ruben Martinez (Paty) of College Station Rudy Martinez of Acuna, Mexico, Sisters Rosa Martinez of Abilene, and Gloria Vasquez (Jesus) of San Antonio, many nieces and nephew's and extended family and friends.
