Juana "Janie" Ledezma, 75, of Abilene passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at North's Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Janie was born January 17, 1948 in Knox City, Texas to Cecelia Rodriguez and Bruno Carrillo Sr.. Janie received her primary education from Abilene schools. In her spare time she loved to dance and listen to music. She loved taking pictures and videos. Janie loved entertaining her family and friends, especially on Sunday mornings. She would cook Menudo to bring all of her family together. Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Ledezma. Her father Bruno Carrillo Sr., and mother Cecelia Rodriguez. Her brothers; Lonicio Carrillo, Alejandro Carrillo, Bruno Carrillo Jr., Samuel Carrillo, David Carrillo Sr., and Jose Carrillo. Her sister, Rosa Esparza. Left to cherish her memories are Christina Perez (Mario) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Sylvia Ledezma (Josue Siller) of Abilene, Texas, Tonio Ledezma of Abilene, Texas and Amalia Barela (Lorenzo) of Abilene, Texas. 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of dear family and friends.
