Agnes Juanita Bills 82 of Abilene died Friday July 18 2008 in a local hospital. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday July 21 2008 in North's Memorial Chapel with Ernie Christie officiating. Burial to follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Juanita was born September 06 1925 in Ranger Texas to James Willie and Edna Lydia (Maples) Beeson. She graduated from Portales New Mexico High School and from Midwestern State University in 1967 with a degree in accounting. In 1969 she married Charles R. Bills in Waco they resided in Waco Austin and Abilene. He preceded her in death June 30 2008. Juanita retired as a federal revenue agent with the Internal Revenue Service in Waco. She was a member of the Oldham Lane Church of Christ Abilene. Since January 2006 she and Charles had resided at Wesley Court Retirement Center. In addition to her husband Juanita was preceded in death by her parents step-father Ernest Holmes and two brothers. She is survived by her step-son David Bills of Lubbock; her step-daughter and son-in-law Charlotte and Stephen Rubenfeld of Duluth Minnesota ; two granddaughters Brena Rubenfeld of St. Paul Minnesota and Becca Rubenfeld of Pittsburg Pennsylvania; two sisters Opal Lee Terry of Portales New Mexico and Dorothy Bivens of Cisco Texas and several nieces nephews and cousins.
