Judith Adell Busch, 77, passed from this life in Conroe, Texas on November 1, 2021. A visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The funeral will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Minter Lane Church of Christ, 2502 Minter Lane in Abilene with Albert Acosta of MInter Lane officiating and Candace Nicolds of Brookline Church of Christ assisting. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Judith Adell Williams was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1944 to Derrell Winston Williams and Jimmie Adell (Cadenhead). Judy graduated as Valedictorian of Pawnee High School in 1962. She later earned her Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting from Abilene Christian University. She married Leroy Howard Busch, Jr. in December 1963 and they made their home in Abilene. They were members at Minter Lane Church of Christ for many decades. Judy made her career for many years as a CPA with a local accounting firm and other local businesses. Judy enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing forty-two, and researching family history. She once raced over 100 mph and managed to escape any citations for it. Judy also had a sense of humor, but mostly shared it only with those close to her. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her son Robert Dale, and her parents and grandparents. Survivors include her daughter, Katherine Denise Price, and her husband James Jefferson Price II of Houston. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews, and many friends in the Abilene community. Memorial gifts can be made in Judy's memory to the church, food pantry, or charity of your choice.
