Katanya Ann Rose 22 went to be with our Lord on Saturday September 13 2008 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church with Stan Allcorn officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:30 P.M. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange. Katanya was born July 8 1986 in Abilene Texas to Gary Rose and Tereasa Stockman. She attended Abilene High School. She was a loving caring family oriented person who lived life to its fullest. She had a contagious smile. She was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Kenneth Hankins and Wanda Rose. She is survived by her mother and step-father Tereasa and Rick Stockman her father and step-mother Gary and Susan Rose. Brothers; Brandon Hankins and Russell Rose. One sister Kaylynn Rose of Abilene. Step-sisters; Taunya Medler of Pottsboro Texas. Jeannie Westmoreland and Wendy Fulton of Sherman Texas. Grandarents; Chester and Wilma Rose of Dalhart Texas and Patricia and Luther Gossett of Elkhart Texas. One uncle Kenny Hankins Aunts; Rebecca Parker Tammie Rose and Whitney Defries. Cousins; Eric and Kendra Miller Kenya and Duane Hankins Misty and Jeffery Burton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews great-aunts and uncles cousins and close family friends.
