Katheryn Mae Owens, 94, of Abilene left this world to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in North's Memorial Chapel, 242 Orange Street. Mike Hill will officiate. Katheryn was born on July 15, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Catherine Lentz and Lines G. Hargrave. As a child she moved with her family to Southern California and lived there until she moved to Abilene in 2010. Katheryn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of seventy years, Eber T. Owens. She is survived by her son, Michael Owens and wife, Barbara of Potosi, daughter, Sharon Middleton of Ventura, California, three grandchildren, Frank Owens and wife Michelle of Tuscola, Amy Justice and husband Steve of Potosi and Bill Middleton of Huntington Beach, California.
