A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at North's Funeral Home located at 242 Orange St. Abilene, Texas 79601. Kathryn Doris Clark, 85, of Hawley, TX passed away Monday, August 12, 2024. Kathryn was born September 17, 1938 in Stamford, TX to Delma and Clifford Buntin. Kathryn received her primary education from Stamford Elementary and High Schools. After High School she married Johnnie Richard Clark and had four children; Sherry, Clinton, Darla and Debbie. She moved to Chicago and worked at Brach's Candy Co. for 30 years. She retired to Hawley, TX. In her spare time she loved to play the piano, sing and dance. She really enjoyed gardening. She was a special soul, she lit up everyone's life that knew her. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Clinton Clark, daughter Darla Johnson and grandson Justin Johnson, her brothers Gary Buntin and Jimmy Buntin. Left to cherish her memories are: daughters, Sherry Ledwa, Debbie Fleming. Grandchildren: Christina Hawks, Candice Hawks, Charlene Dandrea (husband Chris Dandrea), Antoinette Fleming. Great-grandchildren: Leighton Wheatley, Alyze Booker, Aliyaz Booker, Ariah Booker and Matthew Dandrea. Her sisters: Joyce Howard (Ronnie) and Lauinda Suson and numerous extended family.
