Kathryn Fields, lovingly known as Grandma and Gramzy, passed on into the arms of Jesus on December 18, 2025, at the age of 102. She was born on July 19, 1923, in Montague, Texas to Robert Mack Hise and Lizzie Stephens Hise. Kathryn carried herself as a stylish, spunky lady who lived a full life of grace, strength, and a deep love for her family. She was a steady presence and a comfort to many who had the chance to have known her. Kathryn is survived by her children, Wayne Piland, Charles Dodgen and Kathey Garner; her grandchildren, Carla Ritter, Kelly Garner, Alex Garner, Wendell Piland, Rick Piland and Quana Jones; her great-grandchildren, Crystal Traweek John Ritter, Ayden Garner and Kyler Garner; great-great-grandchildren, Zack Cullum, Tara Traweek, Mason Traweek. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband's Grady Piland, Ishmael Dodgen and Ray Fields and her son Tony Dodgen. Visitation will be held at North's Funeral Home, Friday, December 26, at 10:00, followed by service at 11:00 am. Burial following at Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Kathryn will be forever loved, adored and honored as the great lady that she will always be.
