Kathryn Jacob of Abilene passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 Funeral Services will be held on 8 April 2021 at 11 A.M. at 1st United Methodist Church, 202 Butternut St, Abilene, TX 79602. Visitation will be held on 7 April 2021 from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home Chapel. Kathryn was born September 9, 1962 in Mandan, ND to Adam W. Martin and Judith E. Dahse-Martin. Kathryn received her primary education from Oak Grove Lutheran High School. After High School she married Jon Jacob and spent 18 years together. Kathryn moved around with, and supported her husband Jon in the Air Force for 15 years until his retirement in 1997. Kathryn then worked U.S. Bancorp in Fargo North Dakota. During this time she met her fiancé who preceded her in death, after which she relocated to Abilene, Texas in 2017 to be with her son Joshua, and worked for Hendrick medical center as a screener and most recently a courier. Kathryn was preceded in death by brothers: Kevin and Keith, Fiancé Rick Thornton. Left to cherish her memories are: sons; Shawn Jacob (Dalace) of West Fargo North Dakota, Joshua Jacob of Abilene, Texas, Christopher Jacob (Toni) of Kindred North Dakota, daughter Tiffany Jacob of Las Vegas Nevada, brothers: Kenny and Kelly, sister: Kim, 6 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
