Kay Harris 71 of Abilene passed away January 26, 2023 at her home. Memorial service will be held Friday February 3, 2023 at 10am at the North's Funeral Home Chapel. Kay Harris was born in Jal, NM to Gerald Hale and Betty Ann Brightwell Hale on December 11, 1951. She attended Denver City High School and then graduated from Deming High School in Deming, New Mexico. She then attended Cosmetology school and began her career as a hair dresser. She worked at Sam's Club where she was a dedicated employee for 26 years in the cash office. Kay was preceded in death by her parents Gerald Hale and Betty Ann Hale. She is survived by her Son Kevin Johnson, Daughter and spouse Alicia and Anthony Watson and three grandchildren Kaylynn, A.J., and Jase. Also her daughter and spouse Roxann and Chris Horn and her two grandchildren Angel and Brandon. She was also survived by her sisters and spouses Shirley and Larry York, Kathy and Dennis Kelly, and Vickie and Jack McCombs. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
