Keith Lewis passed away on July 30, 2024 with his daughter LaDasha and son Lewis by his side, while his wife and family were close by. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 6, 2024 at King Solomon Baptist Church 1050 Minda St. Abilene TX, 79602 . Visitation will be held Monday August 5, 2024 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St. Abilene TX, 79601 Keith was born in Abilene, Texas on February 13, 1972, to Dovie and Ernest Lewis of Abilene Tx. Keith was born and raised in Abilene Tx. He went to Abilene High School and graduated in the class of 1991. Keith married Melissa Abila on November 4, 2017 in Abilene TX. Keith was a long time member at Mt.Moriah Baptist Church. He worked at the Abilene State School Supported Living Center. He started out as a food service worker, followed by cook, then moved up to Manager. Keith worked over a span of 15yrs combined. He enjoyed his work and enjoyed serving the clients there as well as all employees he came across and worked with. As everyone knows, he loved football; however, his favorite team was the (you guessed it) 49ers!!! Nothing brought him more joy than to watch the games with his family and friends. Keith leaves behind to cherish his memory, Melissa, his loving wife who has stood by his side until the end. His son Lewis aka bubba, daughter LaDasha aka Dasha b, granddaughter Gabriella and her mom Lupita all of Abilene. His sisters Joyce and brother-in-law Earnest of Arlington TX, Betty of Arlington TX, Margaret and brother-in-law Bill of Arlington TX, Tina and brother-in-law Booker of Arlington TX, Queen and brother-in-law Gary of Mansfield TX, Dorothy of Abilene TX. His brothers, Kevin and his sister-in-law Ericka of Abilene TX, Artie and sister-in-law Sabrina of Virginia, Kenneth of Abilene TX, Chris of Houston TX. Two God-daughters Nikaya and BreAna. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he loved so much. Keith also leaves behind a ton of cousins and friends that he not only call his friends, but his brothers. He joins in Heaven his mother Dovie Lewis and father Earnest Lewis, Aunt Letty Nash, niece Anasia Griffin, nephew Ahmar'ja Jones, As well as, Robert Lee Mosley, Renny Mosley, Sammie Welch, and Willie Welch.
