Kendell Dee Wade 57 of Abilene passed away April 18 2012. Funeral Services will be Saturday April 21 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange Street with Dr. Herb Wood officiating. Burial to follow in Zephyr Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will be receiving guests Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel. Kendell was born March 31 1955 to Kenneth and Bonnie Wade in Garnett Kansas . Shortly afterwards moved to Oklahoma then finally became a resident of Texas . Kendell worked in commercial construction for many years and owned his lawn service making sure every lawn looked just perfect. Kendell was a terrific "PawPaw" to his grandchildren and was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie. Kendell is survived by wife Jan Wade; daughters Jennifer Elrod and husband Jamie Kimberly Vaughan and husband Damon and Kristina Wade; sons Austin Etheredge and wife Carrie and Michael Wade; grandchildren Whitney Sabrina Preston Darrian Dylan Jordan and London; his father and stepmother Kenneth Wade and wife MyrLou; brothers Brent Wade and Bryant Wade; sister Kendra Edmond and many nieces and nephews.
