Kerry M. Hardwick 77, of Abilene, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at Hendrick Hospital. Services will be held at Southwest Park Baptist Church Friday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. with Mike Woodard officiating. A private family burial will follow. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Thursday in North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street. Kerry was born in Pennsylvania. After joining the Air Force, he was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene where he met the love of his life Pat Lindsey. They were married fifty-four years. Kerry worked many years for Sears, and retired in 1992. He also volunteered at Southwest Park Baptist Church, and at Austin Elementary LRC. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Rachel and one son, Harlan. He is survived by his wife, Pat, granddaughter, Jennifer Hughes and husband Tim of Abilene, two Grandsons, Tristan and Luke Hardwick of Florida, and three great-grandsons. We will all miss Kerry greatly, but he is free of pain and at peace.
