Kilulu Cyprien, beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the age of 46. He was born on January 1, 1980, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Bizoza Martin and Mukanyangezi Dorothy.

He made Abilene, Texas, his home for the past 16 years, where he built a life centered around his family, faith, work, and community. A devoted Catholic, he carried his faith with him throughout his life and cherished the people around him.

For many years, he worked as a chef, sharing his talent and love of food with others. Outside of his work, his greatest joy was his farm. He loved raising cows and goats and took great pride in caring for his animals and the land. He also had a passion for gardening and enjoyed growing fresh food. He was especially generous with what he harvested, often giving vegetables and other produce from his garden to friends and family. His generosity was one of the many ways he showed his love for others.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking spirit, his love of the land, and his generous heart. The memories he created with his loved ones will remain cherished by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nabintu Riziki, and his children: Cleopatra Cyprien, Claudine Cyprien, Crystela Cyprien, Clever Shabani, Claude Kalisa, Clarisa Cyprien, and Christopher Kashinde. He is also survived by extended family and many friends who will deeply miss him.

He was preceded in death by Parents Bizoza Martin and Mukanyangezi Dorothy, Sisters Mukantaganda Josepha, Dusabe Eugenie, Mukangamije Odette, and brothers Ntaganda celestin and Kalisa callixte.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday September 4, 2026 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church5410 Buffalo Gap Rd. with burial to follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery, Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8pm at Old Paths Baptist Church 3501 Chimney Rock Rd.
