Larry Woods 64 of Abilene joined his parents in heaven on Saturday March 10 2007. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in North's Memorial Chapel with Larry Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of North's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel 242 Orange St. Larry was born January 9 1943 to Elmer H. and Dorothy L. Woods in Washington Court House Ohio. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 – 1965. He married Patricia Clayton on August 9 1963. Together they owned and operated Clayton Chemical Company Inc. He was with Clayton Chemical Company Inc. from 1965 until his death. He was a devout Christian having recently attended St. James United Methodist Church and the Bible Baptist Church in Clyde. He knew the time was very near for him to go and meet his Lord and he was prepared. He loved to fish and work in his garden and he loved animals. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Patricia Clayton Woods of the home. Two sisters Linda Vance and husband Harlan of Clyde Texas and Susan Faircloth and husband James of Clyde Texas. Two nephews Scott Vance of Euless Texas and Brad Faircloth of Goodland Kansas. One great-nephew Bronc Faircloth. Two great-nieces Aspen Faircloth and Summer Ann Vance.
