Laura Ann Kleiner, 70, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on October 23, 1954, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Robert and Patricia (Shea) Tilley. Laura started work at the Springfield Republican Newspaper then pursued a career in the insurance industry which lasted more than 20 years. Laura's clients greatly appreciated her dedication and professionalism. In her personal life, she shared many cherished memories with her late husband, Daniel Kleiner, spending time camping, boating and traveling. Laura, who was an avid reader, enjoyed quiet time with a good book. She is survived by her son Daniel Lazaroff, his wife Lindsay and their two children, Caleb and Abigail, who brought Laura endless joy. She also leaves behind her son Erik Lazaroff. She is also survived by her brothers David Tilley and his wife Peg, Mark Tilley and his wife Doreen, Scott Tilley and her sister Kate Tilley. Laura also leaves behind her uncles John Polaski, Thomas Shea and his wife Beverly, Frank Tilley and his wife Deborah, her niece Alexandra Tilley and nephew Erik McGrath. She leaves many cousins, including Violet Baldwin, who held a special place in Laura's heart. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Tanya, who lovingly cared for Laura before she moved to Texas to live with her son and his family. The family also wishes to express eternal gratitude to her full-time caregiver Lanelle whose devotion made it possible for Laura to remain at home over the last three years, her part-time caregiver Gabi for night and weekend support, Sanford Construction for building her new cottage, her primary physician Dr. Beckham and the staff at Alpha Omega Hospice for their compassionate care in her final months. Laura's love, warmth, and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, Massachusetts.
