Lavern "Peachy Mama" Smith was a beautiful soul whose love, laughter, and light touched everyone blessed enough to know her. She never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel like family. Her smile could brighten a room, and her joyful spirit was truly the life of every party.
Peachy Mama loved to sing, dance, and laugh. Whether she was spending time with family and friends, enjoying herself at the game room, or relaxing at the park, she found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a gift for bringing people together and creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Above all else, Lavern loved her family. She was a devoted and loving mother to Menika Jannell Smith and Gene Clay, Jr., and an adoring grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Sa'Nyia Smith. The love she poured into her family will continue to live on through them and through the countless lives she touched.
Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we rejoice in knowing that her love, laughter, and legacy will remain with us always. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories-a song in our hearts, a smile on our faces, and a reminder to celebrate life and love the people around us.
Preceded in death her mother Pearlie Smith, father Arthur DeWitt Smith and nephew Terrell Smith.
She Leaves to Cherish Her Memory; Daughter: Menika Jannell Smith, Son: Gene Clay, Jr., Granddaughter: Sa'Nyia Smith, Sister: LaWanda Wigfall and Nephew Milo "Keith" Smith. Along with a host of loving family members and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love and kindness.
