Lee Ann Allison Smith, born in Scottsbluff Nebraska, September of 1932 died on January 2nd, 2026. She was raised in Nebraska farm county along the North Platte River and the Oregon Trail. She married Hoyt Smith from Ballinger Texas. They moved to Abilene Texas where she because thoroughly Texan, living here for 73 years. They raised three children and have three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Lee Ann worked at the west Texas Rehabilitation center for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed baking for family and friends. She loved to dance. Lee Ann died peacefully in the arms of her grandson, Jason Williams. Memorial for Lee Ann Allison Smith will be held April 11, 2026 at the West Texas Rehab Center in Abilene, Texas at 11AM.
