Lena Marie (Ashby) Kimbell 89 of Ovilla Texas formerly of Abilene passed away Saturday July 16 2011.  Services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in North's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Herbert Wood officiating.  Burial will be in the Texas State Veteran's Cemetery of Abilene at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at North's Funeral Home 242 Orange St . Ms. Kimbell was born July 4 1922 in Caps Texas to Ozzo "H.P." and Martha Ashby.  She served in the United States Navy during World War II.   She worked at West Texas Medical Center as an LVN. She was a foster grandparent at Abilene State School for a number of years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents. Two sisters; Ida Lillian (Ashby) Hamby and Ramona (Ashby) Everett. Three brothers; Perry Ashby J.B. Ashby and Ozzo Ashby. She is survived by her daughter Sue Ann (Kimbell) Agullana.  A brother; James Ashby. Grandchildren; Tianta (Agullana) Schwartz and husband Stacy Mara (Agullana) Miller and husband Bill and Jerrod Agullana and eight great-grandchildren.
