Leonore Martinez Torres, 57, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2025. Leonore was born on December 20, 1967, in Abilene, Texas, to Raymond Martinez and Victoria Gonzales Martinez. She attended Abilene Independent School District and graduated from Abilene Cooper High School. Leonore worked for many years as a dedicated housekeeper, known for her strong work ethic and kindness toward everyone she met. Leonore loved being outdoors, going places, visiting casinos, and spending time at the lake. She cherished moments with her family and found joy in simple adventures and the company of those she loved most. She is survived by her husband, Alex Torres Sr. of Abilene; her sons Alex Torres Jr., Marcus Torres (Naomi Richards), and Nicholas Torres, all of Abilene; her daughter Angelica Torres (Louise Medina) of Odessa, Texas; her mother Victoria Martinez of Abilene; brothers; Raymond Martinez Jr., John Martinez, sister Deann Martinez, 11 grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews, who brought immense joy to her life. Leonore was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Martinez. Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home. Leonore will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
