Lettie Brown 88 went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 7 2007 peacefully in Fort Worth. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at North's Memorial Chapel with Frank Estes officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of North's Funeral Home 242 Orange. There will be a memorial service in Fort Worth at Emmanuel Church on Sunday April 15 at 6:00 PM. Lettie was born Dec. 23 1918 in Holtville California to Fleta and Thomas Nathan Wren. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1937. Lettie married Glenn B. Brown on Jan. 22 1938 in Coleman TX and they resided in Abilene for many years. She had lived with her son in Fort Worth for the last 7 years. Lettie was greatly loved by her family and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister; daughter Lette Lou Wendlick; three grandsons; and three great-grandsons. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law Micky and Del Compton of Centralia WA.; son and daughter-in-law Reggie and Suzanne Brown of Fort Worth; son-in-law Frank Wendlick of Potosi TX; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
