An excellent wife who can find? Linda Fay Spinella Kemp was born in Livermore, CA to Joe and Freeda Spinella on November 1, 1957. She graduated from South Garland High School and the University of Texas at Arlington. Linda married Scott Kemp on August 11, 1979 in Dallas, TX. She was a faithful member of South Side Baptist Church from 2001 until her death on January 1, 2024. Linda was a midwife & delivered more than 200 babies; she also served as president of the Association of Texas Midwives. She taught spanish at Abilene Christian Schools. And she was the administrative coordinator of the ACU Theater Department and loved working with her theater students. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Joe & Freeda Spinella. Linda is survived by her husband, Scott Kemp, their children Hannah Garbacz & her husband Scott, Matt Kemp & his wife Kelli, Jack (nee MaryLynn) Kemp, Steve & Laura Spinella (brother), Sharon & Carey Owen (sister), Carolyn & Brian Drevetz (sister), and grandchildren Joseph & Samuel Garbacz and Raylan, Myles, and Sadie Kemp. The Kemp family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the folks at Kinder Hearts Hospice for their loving care of Linda the last several months. There will be a memorial service at South Side Baptist Church at 11:00am on Saturday, January 6, 2024. Flowers can be delivered to the church between 2 & 5 pm on Friday the 5th.
