We mournfully announce the passing of our sister, mother and aunt, Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 11am at Holiday Hills Baptist Church located at 5309 Capitol Ave., with burial to follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Linda Diane Hall McIntee, 68, of Abilene, Tx Linda passed away on May 9th, after a hard 6 years of grieving for her Husband Arthur (Mac) L. McIntee, recent death of her dear Friend Gwen Thomas on April 9th, Sister ReaCene Harrell on April 22nd and dogs Maxie and Baby. Linda passed away of broken heart syndrome. Linda, was born to Alfreda Hall Harrell on August 25, 1953 in Abilene, Tx. She was soon adopted by Rev. T L and Lois Peoples. Linda accepted Christ at an early age and loved attending church with her parents. Linda attended Carter G. Woodson until segregation ended and soon transitioned to Abilene High School where she graduated in 1971. She then went on to attend McMurry University, pursuing a degree in Music and General Studies. Linda's biggest passion in life was music and serving others. An avid piano player, Linda played at many churches in Abilene. In over two decades, she played for Holiday Hills Baptist Church, King Solomon then back to Holiday Hills. She was also a pianist in other states she lived in throughout her life, including Oklahoma and Montana. She would play anywhere when asked. Especially, funerals, church services day or night, and weddings. She did so, with no hesitation. She had a career spanning over 50 plus years. When Linda wasn't playing the piano, she could be found serving her community and helping others. She was the Founder and Director of Holiday Hills Baptist Church Food Bank and was passionate about getting people food. Linda had many other community attributes and loved working with the youth whether it was at church or community events. Linda was preceded in Death by: Her parents. Rev. Tom Lee and Lois Peoples, Alfreda Hall Harrell, 1sthusband Michael Williams. 2ndHusband and the love of her life Arthur (Mac) L. McIntee and sister ReaCene Harrell. Lived to cherish her memories are: sister, Thelma Peoples of Abilene, Tx. brothers, Jarlvin R. Hall of Houston, Tx, Charles Williams of Abilene, Tx and Thomas Williams of San Antonio, Tx. She loved all her children/grandchildren equally and was blessed with: 3 children, Donald Hall of Cypress, Tx and Jarvin (Kaci) Hall of San Antonio,Tx, Tonia (Eric) Cormier of Rosenberg, Tx. She had 5 amazing step children. Lucretia Lynn of College Station, Tx, Walter Ray Turner (Kassandra), and Christopher Turner both of Fort Worth, Tx, and Art (Christina) McIntee of Plainview, Tx,. She had 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
